> Paste a job link and Warmada suggests who is likely hiring for the role. It is a lead to check before you write to anyone, and sometimes it finds nobody.

## What the lookup does

1. Reads the job posting from its Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby link: the title and the company.
2. Searches for people at that company whose role fits the team the job sits in.
3. Shows the one it judges most likely to be hiring, with a short reason.

## What it does not do

- It does not confirm who owns the vacancy. The name is a suggestion to check against the company’s own pages.
- It can come back empty, especially for small companies and roles with no clear team.
- It does not show a work email or write a message. Those come with a free Warmada account.
- It reads only Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby links, and each visitor gets three lookups a day.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is the person it finds definitely the hiring manager?

No. The lookup suggests the person most likely to be hiring for the role, based on the posting and the company’s people. Treat the name as a lead, check their role and team against the company’s own pages, and look further if it does not fit the job you are applying for.

### Which job links does the free lookup support?

It reads job links on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby, the three applicant tracking systems many companies post through. A link from another site, a company careers page, or a job board that only republishes the posting is not supported, because the lookup needs the original posting to read.

### Why did the lookup find nobody?

Some companies are too small to list the people we look for, some postings do not say which team the role sits in, and some contacts have asked not to be suggested. An empty result is still an answer. The guide on finding a hiring manager covers how to research the person by hand.

### How many free lookups do I get, and do I need an account?

You need no account. Each visitor gets three new lookups a day, and a posting someone has already looked up is shown again without using one of yours. Daily capacity is also limited overall, so on a busy day the lookup may ask you to come back tomorrow.
